Shion is a fast, melee character but with low defense. Take advantage of her fast running speed - it is almost as fast as Akane's run.
Her normal ranged attack fires an X shaped thingy that travels somewhat fast and accurate. The bad thing to this attack is Shion has a maximum of 7 of these shots and they take a long time to reload. It's useful for adding an extra hit or two on a knocked out enemy after landing a melee combo.
Shion's charged attack(yellow bar) throws an electric yoyo that stuns enemies if it hits them. Good for coordinating attacks with your ally. Also, this attack wastes a lot of time for the enemy so if the enemy is in oyashiro/friendship/kakera mode, this attack can help by wasting time while they are in the mode. One bad thing to this attack is that the yoyo doesn't travel very far or fast.
Shion's fully charged attack(red bar) is a dash towards the enemy while spinning and attacking. The attack is fast, charging up the red bar for this attack is rather fast (compared to other character's charged attacks), and the enemy will, most of the time, get knocked down by this attack. However, there is a delay from after you lift your finger off the attack button to Shion doing this dash attack. Another problem is that Shion can only travel in a straight line during the dash attack so if you dont time this dash attack properly, it will have a high chance of missing.
